THE FIRST THEME - Story Telling, Art and Design_TalenTierT – zoo of uniqueness
Program: The „TalenTiere“ are gathered under the unique-species-program and live together with rainravens and elephantjumpers, dinosaurnecklaces, parrotjackets, tiffanycats and mulesideboards in the zoo of uniqueness. This zoo is engaged in national and international absurdity-protection-programs and opens its gates for wondrous textile-animals and snappy design from e.g. France, Great Britain, Scandinavia, Romania and Germany.
The zoo-directors: „In the end we will conserve only what we love. We will love only what we understand. We will understand only what we are taught.“ The zoo-directors Bitten Stetter and Jutta Südbeck of the zoo of uniqueness chose this ancient wisdom of Baba Dioum as their motto for the first theme-world and found a unique way of wowing design enthusiasts for their „TalenTiere“. The main task for the two directors is the design - and species-protection-program. On a daily basis unseen and uncared “TalenTiere” disappear from our earth due to seasonal rapidity, neglected design-quality and elimination of design-habitats.vezi tot articolul
The zoo of uniqueness is trying to hold on to the deceasing. With special absurdity-protection-programs and wild space- and staging-projects the two are speaking up for the rescue of the threatened “talented animals”. Bitten Stetter and Jutta Südbeck are fighting especially for the preservation of snappy and detail-caring international design and arrange new owners for their design-favourites, owners that will be thrilled to domesticate their newly purchased “TalenTier”. But watch out, as the zoo of uniqueness acts in a two-month-rhythm and all the unarranged “TalenTiere” will vanish again in the thicket of global consumer-culture.
The creators: are designers from around the world, whose work grabbed the attention of the zoo-directors in the last months and who willingly provided their fashion, accessories and products to the zoo of uniqueness, hoping to find new habitats for their design.
